ALO (Online Account)
  • All high school band and all marching band students will be required to register for their account and complete the contact information along with e-mail addresses for both students and parents
  • Email will be the main communication method used by the directors to provide information regarding the band program, concerts and other departmental news
  • Band and marching band members are able to view their financial transactions (student activity account) which also includes fundraising earnings
  • New students will be given their registration information at the beginning of the school year (or the beginning of marching band season for those not yet in high school)
  • Please use PaySchools (payment processing service used by Hastings school district) whenever possible to pay for band and marching band fees
  • Payments made through PaySchools may take several days to appear in the online band/marching band accounts as this is not an automatic process

Student Activity Accounts (senior high and marching band only) can be used to pay for band/marching band related expenses such as the marching band fees, instrument repair and accessories, lesson books, concert attire and uniform accessories, band camps, trips and competitions. Cash payments cannot be made from this account. Money CANNOT be transferred to another department (such as choir or foreign language). Money can be transferred between Band and Marching Band with director approval only if absolutely necessary. When a student graduates or quits band, remaining money can go to a sibling in the middle school or high school band program. Otherwise, it becomes part of the general band account. These guidelines are in keeping with current school district policy.
